Unividual Origin
Unividual Limited was established in 2000 by entrepreneur John Baxter. The business was created to combat the issue that many financial firms apply a "one-size fits all" tactic when advising their clients. The implementation of this generic service is inadequate in providing the best advice to suit specific financial needs.

A Message from Unividual's MD
"When I founded Unividual 15 years ago there was a focus on me delivering a single source of high quality financial planning and advice.

graduated from Exeter University with a Law Degree. He was keen to join the business and worked tirelessly to move from a financial planning assistant to a Chartered Financial Adviser in record time.
Business Management graduate Scott Gurd has worked for Unividual as a financial planning assistant for the last two years. Scott has achieved a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is already following in Lewis’s footsteps to become a Chartered Financial Adviser. After awarded his qualifications Scott will work alongside Lewis and John from January 2016 on a specialised financial adviser training scheme.
Lewis joining and Scott following the same path, moved Unividual away from a single source of financial advice. Now a Fellow of the CII (Chartered Institute of Insurance), Lewis’s clients rely on him to deliver the same high-quality, reliable levels of service and advice that I do.
As we begin to grow it is vital, we maintain high standards that both the business and our clients expect from us. With our time in the business all spent on servicing and advising clients, we decided to invest in a marketing strategist. I approached my daughter
about joining Unividual as the Strategic Development Director.
Cherie-Anne holds a degree in Business and Entrepreneurship, a Masters in Marketing, is a Chartered Marketer and has a background in recruitment and professional services. She helped transform her last business from a small recruitment agency of eight people to one of the UK’s largest, privately owned education recruitment agencies.
January 2015 saw Unividual move from a single to a multi-shareholder environment. Cherie-Anne and Lewis joined myself as shareholders and Directors of the business.

The name Unividual stems from this fact.
