ABOUT ISCAPE LTD.
iScape was set up in 1999 to capitalise on the opportunities created by the newly emerging internet. We imagined a time when things in faraway places could be monitored and controlled using a computer on our desk, and now smart phone and tablets. As it happens, there’s an old English/Latin word for this activity: Propinquity – defined as the state of being close to someone or something. So it turns out we had correctly imagined the future of internet, although we had the wrong name. What we called Propinquity is now called Internet of Things, a phrase we believe we have improved upon a little, by calling our product range MonitorThis.
