Welcome, Thomas Charles Grant is a a family run company, built upon recommendations and a high standard of workmanship. TCG offer a professional and most importantly a reliable service to all our customers.
Thomas Charles Grant Ltd have been established for more than 25 years; however, our philosophy and methodology in how we approach our craft, is timeless. TCG offer a full design and build service from project conception to turn-key conclusion, utilising the very best in materials and craftsmanship. We have an extensive construction and joinery workshop facilities in the Milton Keynes as well as offices and a showroom in Akeley, Bucks. As a company we pride ourselves on being able to offer a complete ‘in house’ service, to cover all aspects of building projects such as new builds, self builds, extensions, groundworks, loft/ barn conversions, orangeries/ conservatories, kitchen design and interior design.
As a design and build company, we are also advancing into new areas of expertise. We have recently developed our project management system adding a survey manager to our outfit. Therefore, Thomas Charles Grant will willingly design your project for you from the initial consultation right through to the planning and building regulation approval.

All work is project managed by trained professionals within our company, this ensures we consistently maintain the highest standards of quality and control in all our building projects however large or small.
Supervising your project is a commitment, as a client we help you understand exactly everything that’s involved. We never under estimate a job nor the value of your opinion.
As a good acting project manager, we will take your new home through to completion, drawing up a schedule and costing from scratch to keep it on time and on budget. Sometimes its a juggling act of contracting trades; scheduling orders and taking delivery of materials on site; paying sub contractors; hiring plant; liaising with inspectors; and making certain all aspects of the build run smoothly.
Furthermore, we are responsible for ensuring all planning permissions, site insurances and warranties are in place before work starts.
TCG are thorough, we check deliveries for damage making sure nothing is missing. We keep a detailed log to track everything we do, including conversations, delivery notes, quotes and inspection dates.
Quotes are agreed verbally and then written up for confirmation.
