MultiTime's parent company, FlexTime, was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1983. With offices in London and Dublin, the group has over 400 customers with more than 5,000 implementations and 200,000 users across multiple sectors and territories. MultiTime supplies to government, universities, health, manufacturing and financial services across Europe and also provides services to other regions including North America.
Ciaran founded MultiTime's parent company, FlexTime, in 1983 and is owner and CEO responsible for the everyday running of the company and international sales. Prior to setting up FlexTime (known as MultiTime in the UK), he worked in the IDA, Ireland's Industrial Development Authority, for over 2 years assisting companies which were setting up in Ireland, process their government grants.
Before the IDA, Ciaran studied Method Study (time and motion) and Hospital Administration. His 3 years working at the Coombe Maternity Hospital in Dublin coincided with the era of the highest inflation rate possibly ever seen. During his time in the health service, he developed and set up an innovative system to compare costs of services and products. This took the inflationary element out of the equation so that services and products could be compared for their "real" costs and better value could be delivered.
With background in the advertising and business promotions area, Mary joined FlexTime in 1984 as a Director. Over the years, she worked in the area of Business Development. Mary was appointed the Financial Director in 1990 and is responsible for the financial control of FlexTime and MultiTime.
