Club Caribbee is one of the UK’s largest and longest running Caribbean travel specialist. We want to share with you the benefits that our members have been enjoying for more than thirty five years.
From its humble origins as “The Travel Shop” to what it has become as Club Caribbee Robert has been involved with this his family’s business, since it began in 1981. He briefly pursued academia before formally joining the company a few years later. Robert has strong links with the West Indies and not just because it’s his favourite holiday destination. Robert is a keen barbecue enthusiast, he enjoys horror movies and more recently has taken up golf, handicap steadily moving downwards.
An accountant in the making before she met her husband Robert and joined the company in 1994. Edith has an infallible memory and an affinity to numbers which have been invaluable tools in her role as Reservations Manager, she now leads a team of four, taking care of client’s needs. Interests include reading, cinema and food, mostly deserts, not that it shows.
Having worked for Caribbean Airline’s former incarnation BWIA, Nadeene joined the company in 2001. Mislead into thinking her vocation lay in becoming a beautician, she found that travel suited her better. She is well travelled throughout the Caribbean but has become a little obsessed with all things Carnival, she is now a Carnival junkie attending the Trinidad Carnival every year. Nadeene has amassed a lot of knowledge on accommodation in the Caribbean making her Club Caribbee’s accommodation specialist. Her interests include organising events, travelling and socialising.
Having attained her NVQ in Travel & Tourism Shamena joined the company initially in the 90’s then left and came back in 2005. She is becoming more travelled having visited Jamaica and Florida on more recent trips. A frequent visitor to Guyana, she has extensive knowledge of the country. Shamena's interests include travelling and eating out.
