Since then rapid growth and a growing reputation for being at the forefront of farriery innovation means we now supply high quality farriery products and run educational programs for farriers, veterinary surgeons and horse owners throughout the UK and Europe
He gained the Freedom of the City of London in 2006 and shortly after became a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Farriers. Within this he has served on the Craft committee and CPD steering group. Mark also was an elected member of the Farriers Registration Council and the FRC disciplinary committee for a term of three years.
He is currently developing the European education and sales program for Total Foot Protection Ltd (primarily in Germany) in the use of TFP's advanced Avanti horse shoe.
David began his career in 1968 as an apprentice to Howard Cooper FWCF (Hon) who gave hime the vision to begin to understand the complexities of farriery. David's time is spent juggling between busy farriery practice which sees him attend many vet clinics, lecturing and researching. David is available to assist vets and farriers with the uses of specialist products.
Marc Joined TFP in February 2004 after working in the logistics / distribution (WH Smiths Business Supplies) and precision engineering industries(working on projects including Airbus A380, Westland Apache helicopter and Motorsport).
Marc is an experienced manager , with a wealth of knowledge in various business sectors and holds professional qualifications including the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Diploma in Marketing, Certificate in Administrative Management, the National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH )to mention a few.
Away from TFP Marc is a trustee of a local charity which he helped create in 2007.
The Charity, Horsham Community Responders, work with the local Ambulance Service in the role of Community First Responders (CFR's) who are volunteers which respond to 999 calls in their local communities and provide potentially lifesaving first aid before the arrival of an ambulance.
I have had many different jobs from window repairs to landscape gardening but my mum's passion led me to gain a position at Total Foot Protection Ltd as Mike Williams was her Farrier at the time and kindly offered me a position back in August 1999. Over the years i have gained extensive product knowledge, qualifications and have represented the company at various trade events both in the UK and Europe. I enjoy the daily challenges of life at TFP as a 'horse shoe supplier' as you don't know what each day will bring as i support Marc with designing marketing materials, help run CPD events as well as my main role of purchasing stock.
Away from TFP i live on my wife's parents farm in Dialpost West Sussex, Sporting amazing views of the South and North Downs, which we are very lucky to have. We also have a variety of animals at home consisting of horses ,sheep ,cows, chickens and not forgetting 'Cartridge' our sometimes faithful Springer spaniel who is always glad of long walks in the fresh air ha ha !.. I love country life, fishing & shooting are my main passions. Not even the coldest wettest days will not put me off trying to catch 'Moby Dick' or go on a good days shooting with friends.
Martin joined us, the team, at Total Foot Protection Ltd (TFP) in 2007 at the age of 17; he currently works in the warehouse picking, checking and packing orders for TFP customers.
Martin particularly enjoys the challenge of working on the website. He helps to keep it maintained and updated.
Martin is most likely the first person that you would see if you came into TFP. He spends much of his time serving customers in the shop and over the telephone. Martin can make a mean cup of tea for any customers in need of a refreshment. He can help you to choose your horseshoes as you drink your tea as he has an excellent knowledge of all the products that TFP stock (as well as many that we don't).
