When in 1971 Dennis Hooper was approached by John & Bob Mays to open their new shop in Reading, little did he realise than over 40 years later his honest, hardworking, customer focused approach to the flooring business would still be benefiting thousands of clients in the Berkshire area. When in 1986 the lease expired on the original shop in Thorn Walk the decision was made to re-locate to bigger, better premises with ample customer parking in a more prominent, easy to find location where they have remained ever since.
Although he retired in 2008 the same core values that established the business have been carried on by his son Andrew and experienced staff with over 50 years worth of expertise in carpets, rugs, vinyls, laminates and wood.
