ABOUT DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS LTD.

This is a relatively new division of the parent company Development Solutions Ltd.

Development Solutions Ltd was established to identify commercial opportunities for a range of developers, speculators and investors and since its inception has been working to support these clients and manage their requests.

This legislation applies to the sale or rental of most types of commercial propertyand further ramifications meant that we as a company needed to be prepared for the introduction of DEC- the latter applying to all public buidings over 1,000m2.

As a company continually seeking new services to offer our clients it seemed a natural step for Development Solutions to take and we established CPEA as a subsiduary of Development Solutions Ltd.

(Energy Performance Certificate) will be required for the sale or letting of most commercial property in Scotland, England and Wales – there are exceptions, see “Who is Affected” on the left. For the remainder of commercial property that is to be sold or let then an EPC is now required, in all instances this legislation applies now so if you are selling or leasing then you will need an epc, or risk a fine.

Here at CPEA and in conjunction with Elmbridge Energy Assessors LTD we have been working to minimise the impact on commercial sales and lettings in respect of the time taken to identify a suitably qualified surveyor and complete a thorough assessment, we have a number of qualified surveyors and, as a result, we are able to provide this service throughout the Midlands, North West of England and Wales.

These individuals are all qualified to Level 4 buildings even though we envisage that the majority of properties to be inspected will be Level 3. By ensuring this high level of qualification we are offering a service that we feel will meet our clients requirements. As an additional service we are also now able to provide air conditioning inspections which again as a result of legislation is now a requirement.
