When the owner of the respected Middlesbrough company Nu-Town Fabrications retired in 1999 and the company closed its doors after many successful years, Steve Brettle, for 13 years its works manager - established his own company, re-engaged all of Nu-Town’s experienced tradesmen at that time, and so carried on a legacy for quality, service and reliability that has now spanned three decades.
Today, Steve Brettle Fabrications is a multi-faceted steel fabrication company with extensive facilities at the Bowes Road Industrial Estate, at Riverside Park, Middlesbrough.
Since 2007, the company has invested considerably in new and updated plant and machinery, notably plate rolling and synergic welding equipment, increasing its in-house capability for hot-forming, section bending and rolling pipes,

Steve Brettle Fabrications are specialists in pipe supports, tank repairs, access platforms, safety gates, stairways and ladders, but like any good steel fabrication company we can turn our hand to just about anything. Our motto is ‘If it’s made from steel, we can make it’ – anything from a nut and bolt to a fully fabricated access platform.
We are proud to say we are a trusted supplier to, among others, the petrochemical and oil & gas sectors, both onshore and offshore, and more recently transport and shipbuilding.
