Stocks Sewing Machines A second generation family business, which specialises in the supply of industrial and commercial embroidery equipment, Established in 1971, Leeds based Stocks Sewing Machines started life servicing and supplying industrial sewing machines to the textile industry. Today, under the management of the original owner’s son and daughter, the company now encompasses three successful divisions including Industrial & Commercial Embroidery Equipment.
We offer UK customers the opportunity to own their own embroidery business selling personalised clothing and garments. We provide and install the embroidery equipment and provide all the associated accessories and a full support package.
ZSK Stickmaschinen GmbH, Krefeld, commenced production on February 1st 1984, having taken over all the patents, rights, trademarks, inventories and finished machines for production of multi-head embroidery machines from former Zangs AG, Krefeld. These tangible and intangible assets were incorporated into the newly formed company ZSK Stickmaschinen GmbH.
By acquiring both the business assets and the excellent workforce of Zangs AG, ZSK safeguarded more than 100 years of expertise in textile machine construction and workmanship, including more than 30 years of experience in the embroidery machine sector.
Since the company was founded and commenced operation, the work force in Krefeld has been increased from 70 to its current total of more than 200. Worldwide, there are more than 100 Agents and Distributors working for ZSK, all with well trained technicians on their staff to secure the highest level of customers’ satisfaction.
Exports account for approximately 95 % of total sales and embrace more than 100 countries all over the world, with more than 50 % of the ZSK turnover achieved outside of Europe and still increasing. ZSK is the largest European supplier and one of the leading manufacturers of embroidery machines worldwide. Based on the company’s progressive and successful innovation policy, our products have established themselves at the top end of the world market. This has secured total sales worth more than 800 Mio. EUR since 1984 , the consequence of selling more than 12,000 embroidery machines and some 1,200 digitizing systems.
