Trevor Roberts Associates (increasingly known as TRA) was established by
, BA Hons, joined the organisation in 1997 and became one of its Directors in 2002. She was appointed Co-Principal Director alongside Trevor Roberts in 2007 before his eventual retirement in the summer of 2009. Penny continues to manage the business as Principal Director and although Trevor has no day-to-day involvement in the business he remains Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Effective enforcement is essential in order to maintain the integrity of an authority's plan-making and decision taking processes. In fact, enforcement is probably the most complex and litigious part of the planning process; the decision to enforce is not taken lightly and has to be soundly based on evidence of ‘planning harm’ and be legally well-founded in all respects.
