ABOUT PUMPTEC LIMITED

Pumptec’s core business today is the supply, installation, service and repair of wastewater pumping stations, interceptor alarms and various types of monitoring equipment.

Having progressed from a service and maintenance company established in 1999 we began building packaged pumping stations for various pump manufacturers using free-issue tanks manufactured by third parties a few years later. The company continued to do this for several years, not only building pumping stations for principle suppliers but selling them in its own right until it provided the majority of the Pumptec’s income.

However it became obvious that the performance of third party tank suppliers had too much impact our business and the decision was taken to invest in the company’s own modular tooling to produce a range of high quality polyethylene pump chambers. Hence we have the 2000 Series, which is a nominal 2 metres diameter vertical underground tank increasing in depth from 1.5 metres to 3 metres in half metre increments and the 1500 Series that is 1.5 metres nominal diameter with depths from 1.5 metres to 4.5 metres in half metre increments.

Shortly after the introduction of the new tank range Pumptec was invited to design an adoptable package pumping station by one of the UK’s largest water utility companies which was well received resulting in orders for both network and treatment works.

Pumptec Limited was formed in 1999 to provide routine and responsive maintenance services to owners and operators of wastewater pumping stations.

Since then the Company has expanded its comprehensive range of pumping station service contracts to include oil and petrol interceptors plus remote monitoring.

In 2009 Pumptec Limited commissioned the tooling to manufacture high quality polyethylene pump chambers used for its own brand range of packaged wastewater pumping stations.

To compliment this successful product range we now have larger tanks to provide attenuation for foul and surface water applications plus chemical dosing systems for water and wastewater treatment.

More recently Pumptec Limited has added water pressure booster sets to its portfolio utilizing WRAS approved products and materials for potable water service.
