Our traditional pine futon bases are manufactured in Vietnam and Europe to our specification, using a tough Radiata pine to reduce splintering and 'sap' pockets. All our pine bed bases are fully UK manufactured using Scandinavian pine, whilst the hardwood bases use Oak from Vietnam. We have found, over the years, that the quality of futon bases from Vietnam has consistently been of a high quality and the forestation rules governing their production ensure a correct turnaround of replanting. Metal bases are now sourced from a Belgium factory in China!, where the latest manufacturing techniques have provided quality products at big value for money prices.
