Mark trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, working across various sectors including transport and logistics. A move into industry followed in 1991, working in the UK and Europe in roles such as Systems Accountant, Group Financial Controller and CFO. The knowledge that has been acquired over this period provides a deep understanding of the Office of Finance and how it operates on a day to day basis.

In the late 90's Mark was introduced to the world of Business Intelligence and Reporting through an implementation of Cognos. A result of this was a move to consultancy helping others realise the benefits that these tools could bring.

In 2010 Mark was the founder and driving force behind Aramar Solutions. In only four years Aramar was successfully developed and gained a reputation as one of the leading IBM Business Partners in the UK delivering FPM solutions to the Office of Finance.
