Welcome to Hivac Engineering. We are specialists in ultra high vacuum chambers and equipment. Our main objective is to provide clients with the highest quality in engineering and fabrication of high vacuum and ultra high vacuum chambers and equipment. Excellence is assured through in-house control of the entire process from; CAD design, fabrication, leak-testing , UHV cleaning and bake-out with RGA scan if required.

HiVac Engineering is based in Hastings (East Sussex) which is a well known area for vacuum chamber manufacturing. Hivac has 14 years of experience in the field of chambers and components. With this collected knowledge and experience Hivac Engineering is expanding into providing catalogue items that can be supplied off the shelf, but will continue to work closely with clients to provide custom vacuum equipment and chambers.

Hivac Engineering specialises in TIG welding for vacuum applications, we have the ability to reach high engineering tolerances with a welded assembly by applying techniques gained from years of experience.

Hivac Engineering boasts extensive machine shop facilities with 3, 4 & 5 axis machining, in house machining has grown along side the fabrication facilites to service customers in the vacuum industry, hard to machine refractory material such as tantalum, molybdenum to high temprature machineable ceramics such as boron, macor & shapal.

All these facilities in one place gives Hivac Engineering the ability to provide a complete vacuum manufacturing service.
