In 1991 Matt Fearn formed Swift Environmental Services Ltd. Swift's main focus was to offer comprehensive drainage services across the Midlands. With Swift a success Matt looked at ways to expand and identified the opportunity to diversify into pest control. Within 2 years the company was offering its services to the whole of the UK.

With Swift a success, in 1998 Matt decided to broaden significantly the services offered and Woodland Property Services Ltd was established. Woodland’s main focus then became the Social Housing sector with the company offering a wide range of services – effectively a complete building maintenance solution for the sector.

Today, Woodland's provides building and electrical services to a broad range of public and private sector organisations underpinned by a focus on quality, response and value for money.
