About Marine Concepts Limited
Marine Concepts Ltd is a private company, established in 1998, to service the specialist construction of plugs for leisure cruiser boat builders.
The business quickly expanded from plug making to include the fabrication of the moulds, and from there to the fabrication of mouldings for hulls, decks or components.
The Company has a skilled and experienced workforce and an expansion in business has allowed the company to move from Hamble to a large aircraft hanger at Lee-on-the Solent. This large undercover working area, on a secure airfield next to the coast, has allowed the Company to take on projects large and small, without being constrained by space. The largest physical project being the construction of a plug and mould for a 43m hull.
The Company has produced plugs, moulds and GRP mouldings of hulls and deck sections for some of the most well known leisure boat builders in the UK. Recently the Company has built ribs for the support of inshore sailing events and even manufactured specialist fireproof GRP component for the Royal Navy.
An expanding involvement in commercial boat building has also see the Company build its own range of Sports Fishing Cruisers and Family Leisure Cruisers, called the Daedalus.

Marine Concepts Ltd are based in Lee-on-the Solent, Hampshire, and have been involved in the specialist construction of plugs and moulds for the marine industry since 1998. Our fully equipped premises, located in an aircraft hanger, allows us to take on a wide range of marine fabrication projects, both large and small.
Marine Concepts works closely with our sister company, MonsterCAM, located in the same aircraft hanger. MonsterCAM offers a 5-axis machining centre with a volumetric cutting space of 1,260m3 allowing plugs to be precision machined up to 45 metres in length.
