RTE Electrical Engineers Ltd is a long established company dating back over 30 years, starting out it’s long life as Ray Tuck Electrical. Ray Tuck (managing director) started Ray Tuck Electrical from his home in Silloth servicing the requirements of the local factories, in 1991 the business moved to its current premises in Cockermouth and on 30

April 1998 became RTE Electrical Engineers Ltd.

Over the years RTE has seen many changes in regulations but with its knowledgeable staff has gone from strength to strength gaining more and more knowledge along the way, over the last few years it has seen the majority of changes internally and we believe they have overall made the company stronger. We have a strong management team who excel in their areas and some of the best electricians, electrical mates and apprentices the company could hope for. Many of our customers have remained with us for many years and are extremely valued by RTE, we are now seeing many new customers come on board with special requirements that RTE can meet. We actively work with each and every customer to meet every requirement they set be it working hours/environment, special training needs, set targets or documentation.

We feel we adapt to every situation willingly to assist every customers needs whilst keeping in line with our company accreditations.

Ray has lead the company from the start and continues to be actively involved in all aspects of the company.

Steve has bought a range of knowledge to the company since he started in 2014 but has recently taken up his new position and is responsible for overseeing project works alongside Don Veitch (specialist area inspection and testing).

We have a number of electrical mates to back up our strong team of electricians who hold various qualifications including hydraulic platforms, confined spaces, accreditation etc to provide a strong support network .
