Her ethos has always been to empower personnel; maintaining a very productively committed relationship with clients and her employees. Jenny has rigidly held on to this ethos which has enabled Medicat to expand its family of clients within the South West.
In October 2010 Jenny opened another division, Medicat Specialist Ltd, to supply emergency nurse practitioners and practice nurses to walk-in centres, minor injury units and emergency departments. This division also continues with the ethos and values that Jenny has instilled in Medicat throughout the years. Both divisions have a strong reputation in supporting and empowering their personnel, offering an exemplary quality of service at very realistic and competitive prices.
Medicat is very much a family interest, with Jenny taking the helm: her son David (ODP) is Company Secretary,
providing support in many areas. Her other son Tim, director, is also on hand to provide support and common sense (and more often than not some humour!). Kate, a bright and engaging young lady administrates the specialist branch with professional dexterity and Mike manages our numbers, as well handling the IT.

Our managing director, Jennifer de Angelo, had maintained her NMC registration from 1957 until very recently. As one of the few remaining “old school” nurses, Jenny has seen and done it all. David Cooksey, Company Secretary, is a practicing ODP specialising in Anaesthetics. Kate, our training and compliance lead, is educated to a post-graduate level in psychology and is also an accomplished healthcare assistant. Both Dave and Kate also hold diplomas in business and management.
