Scott provides strategic and tactical PR support for clients in a diverse range of sectors including aerospace, care homes, technology, transport and geoinformation.
His expertise lies in managing complex issues, often in fast-moving situations. He launched Deep South Media’s PR Division in 2005 and joined the Board as a Director in 2011.
Andrew formerly handled the PR for regional newspaper group Newsquest and before that was Business Editor of the Bournemouth Daily Echo. His other posts during a 37 year career have included Head of News at Chiltern Radio covering Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire.
After training as a reporter, Kay worked as chief sub-editor for the Radio Times, then as chief sub-editor of the advertising industry’s critical mouthpiece, Campaign. Four years were spent as production editor with the Express Newspaper Group on their Spotlight Publications, notably Music Week, and a further two with the Times Educational Supplement and Higher Educational Supplement before moving to Bournemouth where she worked for the Daily Echo as a sub editor.
Ed Baker is a former press agency journalist who spent 12 years writing for the national papers, both tabloids and broadsheets.He has worked on some of the biggest stories in the South and understands how the media think and work. Ed has broken numerous exclusives and has a bulging contacts book, which he is putting to good use for Deep South Media.
He joined the company as Account Director in October 2012.
A former daily newspaper journalist, Rachel has used her extensive skills to provide crisis communications support and proactive positive coverage for local government.
Rachel provides strategic communications support across all media, including social media and SEO articles for websites.

James Tourgout is a former business editor and deputy head of news who spent 18 years writing for the Dorset Echo and associated titles.
He put his broad range of excellent writing and media skills to good use on many business and news projects and publications but also covered some of the biggest stories of recent years.
He provides press office, communications and PR support for clients across the South and the West Country.
James joined Deep South Media in November 2013.
She joined Deep South Media as Account Director in May 2014.
He also held the role of deputy editor at the Dorset Echo for a decade from 1997, before becoming the paper’s head of production.
Cliff also led a team of 26 staff as head of multimedia production at one of the UK’s largest regional publishing group Newsquest’s Weymouth centre.
He was responsible for the production of the Dorset Echo, Bournemouth Echo, Brighton Argus, Salisbury Journal, numerous weekly and free newspapers and glossy monthly magazines.
He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Deep South Media which he joined as account director and designer in March 2015.
This included managing the photographic departments and staff of all of the publications; providing imaging and video solutions for media associated with them and maintaining and developing a picture database containing over 1 million images. Under his leadership the Southampton centre sold more images than any other centre in Newsquest nationwide with his pictures being the biggest sellers.
Strong images have never been more important, particularly in this age of social media. DSM’s photographic and video division can provide superb still and moving images at highly competitive rates.
Debbie joined Deep South Media as a designer in October 2015.
