Wessex Site Inspection was initially formed from within the National Health Service in 1992. The team of building and services engineering staff were responsible for the inspection and monitoring of hospital projects within the South and South-West of England.
In 1997, WSI broke away from the NHS and became a Limited Company (Ltd). This breakaway allowed the team to provide services to not only the NHS, but also to other Clients including Schools, Colleges Universities and Police Fire and Rescue and Private Developers. Since becoming a Privately run Practice WSI has been involved with over 600 Projects across the South of England.
All Wessex Site Inspection staff are experienced personnel who have spent much of their working life in the construction industry. They are able to demonstrate knowledge of acceptable building & workmanship practices, interpret and understand Contract documents and advise where standards or performance are not being met.

"Quality Is Our Business"
Services provided on 600+ projects
Since 1997, Wessex Site Inspection has provided Clerk of Works and NEC Supervisor services on projects throughout the south of England.
We not only report on issues relating to quality standards and performance, but also provide regular updates on an independant view of progress against programme.
All WSI staff are from a practical or technical background and well placed to advise on the acceptability of construction and finishes. In addition, and if required, we can provide unbiased factual information relating to contract programme; resources; their effects; quality and progress.
It is well known in the construction industry that many ongoing maintanence costs and building problems can be linked to poor workmanship or incorrect use of materials during the construction process. By inspecting the works on a regular basis, WSI seeks to provide a proactive approach, identifying defects at the earliest possible stage and ensuring that issues are resolved successfully.
