SEC is a values based sustainability consultancy that works to improve performance globally. Our aim is to support our clients to work smarter and think more clearly. We are change makers and strategic partners on your road to a better way of doing things. This section explains the way we go about consulting.
SEC was founded in 1995 to provide strategic sustainability support and since its inception has delivered real change and created economic and social value.
Based on its specialist expertise in combining business and sustainability improvements, SEC has forged strong and long-lasting relationships with B2B and consumer facing clients. SEC has worked as a retained advisor over many years working with our clients, transferring our skills so our clients become independent of us and we can move on.

It’s easy to say you are a values driven organisation, these pages set out to show what we mean by that and most importantly, what we do about it. SEC is not an NGO, we are simply offering ourselves a partner that wants you to make a better world with us.
We are committed to design in improvement year on year so we all get better together. As we are all human and if something goes wrong then we will actively learn lessons through the use of Root Cause Analysis.
Where we can collaborate to add value we will. We want to act as a business partner sharing your concerns and delivering you needs. We also encourage our clients to work with others to find the best available resources. We will share our skills and our contacts to build your skills and networks.
We aim to make a net positive social impact through supporting young people into employment. Youth unemployment is a major societal issue in Europe and SEC offers paid internships to young people on a regular basis, to provide them with much-needed experience and help them create better outcomes. Where we can we employ recent graduates or those who have struggled to enter employment after a break and we are committed to train them. SEC is a learning organisation and we invest in refreshing and building our people’s skills.
How can we make a difference? It is in doing what we do best for more organisations and give access to those that struggle to afford help. So we offer all charities and any not-for-profit collaborations, with funded projects, lower fee levels to enable them to afford our services.
We are a long standing sustainability consultancy, specialising in strategic partnerships working together on business and operational challenges.
SEC works to make businesses sustainable in all respects, environmentally, socially and economically.
