Established 1994, Andair is a premier ISO 9001 manufacturer of aircraft fuel system components including high-quality fuel selectors, gascolators and fuel pumps. Applying the expertise acquired over many years’ flying and home-building their own aircraft, the Andair team of specialist engineers and designers has established a global reputation for their products that is second to none.
The business is based in a modern industrial unit and operates a multitude of up-to-date: CNC mills, assembly equipment and test rigs.
Andair is a highly-professional business, set up twenty years ago and managed by father and son team Andy and Owen Phillips. Both Andy and Owen are pilots and aviation-engineering enthusiasts who combine time-served hands-on skills with high-level academic engineering qualifications.
The hands-on knowledge acquired over many years combined with their design and engineering expertise lies behind the exceptional products produced by the company that have, in many cases, become the industry standard.
Andair fles to – where possible in their own RV7 – and attends Sport and GA Shows in Europe and North America, such as: The LAA Rally Sywell, Aero Friedrichshafen, Sun & Fun Florida and EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Its at these shows that Andy and Owen gain feedback from fellow builders that is so important in the development of new and better products.
Andy is currently building his third aircraft, a Vans RV7, which both he and Owen will fly to the many aviation events that Andair attends over the course of the year. As a massive fan of Vans aircraft, whatever Andy learns from each build is incorporated into both the next project and the precision components that Andair engineers.
