About The Hanworth Timber Company

Hanworth Timber Company has been providing timber products for both trade and the public for the last 47 years, and for the most part has been a family run company. It was initially started by Peter Hall, who ran the company as a saw mill producing mining timber and some fencing to the trade and public. His initial work succeeded at putting Hanworth Timber on the map. A photo of the yard when it was first started can be seen at the top of this page.

After owning the company for some years he sold it to his daughter Mandy.

Mandy continued to run the company as a saw mill for some time before changing production in order to concentrate more on the fencing and garden products side of things.

Mandy has now been at the helm of the company for the last 32 years in which she has invested her time and hard work to modernize the yard, erect new buildings and introduce a wide range of new products to complement her existing range of stock. A photo of the differences that these changes have made can be seen at the bottom of this page.

Hanworth Timber, under the direction of Mandy, has always prided itself in offering quality products at competitive prices, and constantly strives to ensure their customer satisfaction remains the first and foremost priority of the company.
