- Natural Breaks celebrated its 10th Birthday, and we started the 'Out & About' Project; supporting thirty people from families in South Liverpool.
– We worked with Paradigm and a number of other organisations to set up the REACH standards which organisations who provide supported living. They are recognised as a set of standards to aspire to and Natural Breaks were involved in setting these standards and they are embedded in everything we do.
- Natural Breaks started the Holi-Daze project, to provide opportunities and empowerment for students with learning disabilities, during holiday periods.
- Involved in the production of the ‘All Together Now’ paper about Collectively figuring how to develop alternatives to paid support
– we became preferred providers for Chester and Cheshire West
- Natural Breaks achieved charitable status and we moved to our new office at the Millennium Resource Centre in Vauxhall.

My name is Diane Hesketh and I am the Chief Executive Officer for Natural Breaks. I began working for Natural Breaks in April 2017 and am thoroughly enjoying every second of it! From being on Radio Merseyside to being invited for a cup of tea in our supported living homes, to meeting the Lord Mayor of Liverpool – every day is something to look forward to, a new experience, an exciting event!

I am proud to be the Chief Executive of Natural Breaks and I am committed to continuing the fabulous work that has been happening over the last 25 years and working to make life even better for people we support and investing and developing our superb team of support workers, co-ordinators and managers.
Natural Breaks is an organisation that works in a truly person centred way and we want this website to share with you a flavour of some of the things we do.
