ABOUT DISCOVER ADVENTURE LIMITED

The rewards gained through a Discover Adventure challenge expedition are unlimited and unique to every individual who takes part, but below are some of the core benefits your students will likely take away...

Personal development and employability go hand in hand. Students will learn how to cope, lead and communicate in a foreign environment which is an invaluable skill. In addition, the expedition experience will provide huge scope for presentations on the return home as well as video filming and editing and blogging to express their experience. All of which are becoming more important skills in an increasingly digital workplace.

From managing their hygiene living in basic conditions to learning how to optimise their energy levels when spending long days trekking or cycling, students will learn a wealth of information from the moment they sign up. Our expert leaders will advise on exercise, nutrition and help equip them with skills for life, before, during and even after the challenge.

Why Choose Discover Adventure?

We've specialised in worldwide trekking and cycling challenges since 1994 and are proud to be able to provide activity-led, adventure experiences to school groups year on year.

With fully trained and experienced leaders, long term partnerships with local operators across the globe and an unrivalled commitment to delivering your school a challenge experience that is second to none, we will help you to deliver a unique expedition experience that will have a lasting impact on your students.

Our destination and local knowledge is invaluable. We are proud to work alongside English speaking guides in-country, whom provide a wealth of knowledge as well as a first-hand insight into life within the country, forming a cultural bridge for students. Combined with the experience of our crew leading challenges across the world and working alongside students you know you are in safe hands.

We believe school expeditions should be all inclusive and inclusive for all. This means that there are no hidden costs for students and the only spending they’ll need to do in-country is purchase souvenirs if they wish! By making it inclusive for all, we ensure all our itineraries are affordable to provide more students with the opportunity of a once in a lifetime expedition experience.

The Discover Adventure Crew

For us, working in partnership is key. This is what enables us to deliver an expedition to truly suit the objectives of our school group and why we take a consultative approach throughout all phases of the trip development. We are also proud to have long term partnerships with our in-country operators so our local knowledge base is exceptional.

Bringing it back to what it’s all about and why we do what we do. We live for the outdoors and our mission is to provide everyone with the opportunity to achieve their personal ambitions, by breaking out of their comfort zone. Nothing beats the feeling of accomplishing something you have never done before, and even better, doing it alongside some of your closest friends and team mates!

We believe the people make the experience. Whether that is the classmates you are travelling with, the people you meet from different cultures along the way or our crew – in fact, we like to think it’s all of these. With our combination of experience and expertise, the vibrant, enthusiastic personalities of our crew and your students thirst for adventure, at Discover Adventure, we ensure that your school group has the experience of a lifetime whilst being in the safest possible hands.

All Discover Adventure challenge leaders are selected for their knowledge (and love for) the trip activity, their experience of travelling through remote areas of the world, interacting with different cultures as well as their rare ability to inspire, support and lead individuals of all ages and backgrounds through expeditions across the globe.

Local knowledge on overseas expeditions is invaluable. We are very proud to work alongside English speaking guides from destinations across the globe.

Discover Adventure risk assessments do not stop once the trip departs. Our experienced leader will deliver daily briefings to the group, and are able to divert the group should any unforeseen circumstances arrive in country.
