Working alongside partners from the University of Warwick, Jaguar Land Rover and Qinetiq as part of a UK Government funded technology program, add2 as the test equipment vendor won the Lord Stafford “Innovation Achieved” award for delivering a new line of low voltage test equipment for automotive robustness testing.

If you come to work for us, you’ll be involved in the entire product development cycle, from specifications and prototyping to manufacturing and software testing. What you’ll be doing…
This role will allow an ambitious STEM graduate the chance to research alongside an exceptional team of embedded systems engineers and leading academics as part of a European Regional Development Fund project. Working under the supervision of an academic lead, you will undertake collaborative research in order to develop a new product as part of the continent-wide Smart Energy Network Demonstrator programme, with the opportunity to gain a PhD throughout the course of its 3-year fixed term.
The role will involve working alongside both academic staff at Keele University and with engineers highly experienced in the provision of embedded systems development and testing here at add2. Following the end of this contract’s fixed-term period, the right candidate may be offered a permanent position at add2, helping to drive controls innovation throughout automotive and aerospace.
