We operate a fleet of 8 wheeler, 32 tonne, tipper vehicles for the delivery of aggregates and the movement of bulk excavated materials. All our vehicles are LEZ compliant and are fitted with GPS tracking devices allowing us to react quickly and efficiently to our customers’ requirements. Our drivers receive regular training in health and safety and road traffic regulations ensuring that we are able to comply with site safety rules and current health and safety legislation.

In 1988 D & E Roberts purchased their first grab loader to complement the already successful skip hire service. We have now built a reputation for being one of Surrey’s leading grab loader service providers.

As part of our ongoing commitment to responsible recycling we are continually researching what new technology and techniques are being developed to improve our operations. In 2006 we consulted with a leading European waste recycling plant manufacturer about redesigning our own facilities and after 12-18 months of consultation we invested in a bespoke recycling facility incorporating the latest waste recycling technology.

The new recycling plant which uses a 6 metre screening drum, air knives, magnets and a six bay picking station was commissioned in mid 2008. With the use of this plant we are now able to recover about 90-95% by weight of the waste we collect. By increasing the volume of material that we recycle we have been able to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfill sites and provide our customers with the peace of mind that their waste is being dealt with in a responsible sustainable way.

Plasterboard is segregated and taken to be processed back into plasterboard and other gypsum based products.

Our fleet of roll on off vehicles and range of container sizes provide an efficient and cost effective way to remove large volumes of bulky light and medium density waste from commercial, industrial and construction sites.These containers are particularly suited to the removal of large volumes of segregated waste for recycling, such as wood, metal & cardboard.The containers have large back doors that can be fully opened allowing easy ground level access for loading.
