Based in Epping over the last 35 years and in our current office since May 1993 we are an established local firm of roofing contractors with a proven track record.
With years of experience our team can provide finished roofs in natural slate either second hand or new, machine and hand made clay plain tiles, peg tiles, concrete plain tiles and interlocking tiles including man made products.
At Mackie Roofing we carry out Re-felting works to flat roofs in three layer High Performance Polyester built up Torchon felt roofing systems including asphalt roof renewal.
At Mackie Roofing we pride ourselves on our work and our experienced team. Some staff have been with us for more than twenty years and carried out apprenticeships prior to joining Mackie Roofing LTD.
We are members of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors who are the governing body for the roofing industry. Independent guarantees are provided for new roofs. We are also fully INSURED for Public Liability and Employers Liability which also includes the application of heat for flat roofing works. We are members of Trust Mark, the government backed scheme to help people find competent, honest tradespeople.
We are also members of Competent Roofer. It is the government-licensed competent persons scheme that allows professional roofing contractors to self certify that their roof refurbishment work complies with building regulations within England and Wales. We are compliant and up to date with the building regulations. As a result we are inspected and checked annually by the NFRC and Competent Roofer.

After many roofers round to fix a leak in our roof we were recommend to use mackie roofing, we had already spent a lot of money on roofers who never came back when the roof leaked again. Colin came round and gave us a quote , the work was completed and a great service, I said to Colin what if it leaks again and he replied I will come back until we sort it. The roof did leak again and true to his word he came back until the roof was fixed, highly recommend this company very happy .
