Archer Woodnutt Limited is a privately owned subcontract sheet metal fabricator. Founded in 1966 we have a history of successful investment and development resulting in today’s company.

Our philosophy has always been to invest in our plant, our technology and our people. Through this we can then offer our customers the highest service levels at competitive prices. Our customers also benefit from our consistent high quality through our rigorous process control. This derives from 4 fundamental company policies; use of quality raw materials, efficient process equipment, comprehensive training and effective QC.

Our commitment to quality management standards has been recognised by our ISO 9001:2008 certification for both general manufacturing and defence industries. As a long term supplier to the defence industry we are also working towards SC21 accreditation. As a signatory to SC21 we are committed to developing our supply chain to remain competitive and deliver increasing value to our customers. It ensures efficiency and good practice throughout the company.

We have a 30,000 sq ft plant based near Stoke-on-Trent, well placed for access to the motorway network. The modern production facility includes high levels of automation and a computerised production control system. These help ensure even the tightest production deadlines can be met.

We aim to provide a complete in house service for our customers from design through fabrication to finishing. By keeping the processes in house we ensure complete control over both quality and scheduling, providing our customers with first class service.
