ABOUT LABFLEX LIMITED

LABORATORY SAFETY ALWAYS TAKES PRIDE OF PLACE IN LABFLEX' SOLUTIONS

Safety is the absolute cornerstone of all work done by Labflex. Labflex supplies solutions to all types of laboratories with different safety requirements and certification. Labflex nowadays supplies solutions to, e.g. analysis and GMOII laboratories.

Safety in our laboratory solutions is maintained, e.g. by means of Labflex's own procedure and work descriptions which are explicitly drawn up and documented based on the ISO 9001 standards. These procedure descriptions ensure a uniform fixed working procedure that pays due consideration to the safety rules in the furnishing of laboratories and production of products.

Labflex has the necessary knowledge to consult you on how to furnish your laboratory so that it is fully compliant with the regulations and is a safe workplace functionally. The same applies to the products where we have accumulated year-long know-how, e.g. in how to design and build furniture and fume cupboards properly in order to ensure a safe working environment in and around the product. Many analyses and considerable development costs, as well as year-long experience in the laboratory industry at both regional and international level have laid the foundation for the high safety level mastered by Labflex.

Labflex's own Service Department also contributes to maintaining proper product safety after commissioning.

Labflex has vast experience in ensuring that the laboratory lives up to the necessary classification. A laboratory’s classification is decisive for the choice of the final solution, as well as for the final construction, design, and material selection.

Laboratories, laboratory areas, and facilities for large-scale experiments and production which work with genetically modified organisms need to be classified by the Danish Working Environment Authority prior to their use. Classification means the Danish Working Environment Authority's approval that an area meets the requirements placed for that area. Laboratories must be fitted out depending on the risk groups they will work with and furnished in the necessary classification so that personnel, environment, and society are all protected against the respective microorganisms. Such protection is provided by fitting out the laboratories according to a number of guidelines for containment measures. Compliance with these guidelines is supposed to ensure separation between the organisms and personnel/society.

Labflex has an wavering focus on classifications. Labflex's sales and consulting department and service department work on a daily basis with customers who have different requirements for cleaning and hygiene, as well as for sterile workplaces. The private industry and regional hospitals, as well as universities place requirements for deliveries in accordance with the different GMO classes and other classifications.

Labflex is specialised, e.g. in furnishing GMO and microbiological laboratories, sterile rooms, and personnel air locks. Labflex’s systems can therefore accommodate all needs and requirements that exist for this type of special laboratories. It is Labflex’s area of specialisation to provide the right consulting about both furnishing and specific product and material selection. The final solution may constitute a standard system or a custom-designed and produced customer-specific solution.

THE SOLUTIONS OFFERED BY LABFLEX ENSURE THE FUTURE-PROOFING OF YOUR LABORATORY

One laboratory can be much more environmentally friendly than others. Decisive parameters for energy consumption and eco-friendliness include furnishing solution, technology, material selection, and age of the installation and equipment. Labflex can assist you with consulting and help you make the right choices.

ECO-FRIENDLY MATERIAL SELECTION AND PRODUCTION

Proper material selection and production design are yet another way for Labflex to show consideration for the environment. Products and components must be as environmentally friendly as possible. To be able to procure a full environmental product declaration, we also place environmental requirements on our suppliers.

In order to minimise our environmental impact when we produce new products, we opt for the best materials, accessories, and manufacturing methods from an environmental point of view. Likewise, we consider the environmental aspects of our products to be just as important to us as their functional and design aspects.

Environmental aspects are considered to be equivalent to quality considerations and are an integral part of every single decision made by our company. We motivate our employees to show environmental responsibility in the discharge of their work by raising their competence.

We therefore operate our company by meeting the applicable environmental regulatory and other requirements by a wide margin. We also take into consideration environmental requirements from other parties and we think that the best products from an environmental point of view are developed in a close dialogue between customers and suppliers.

ENVIRONMENTAL PHILOSOPHY

This approach forms the basis of our overall and specific environmental work, and it is the duty of all of Labflex's employees to comply with it and implement it.

Ventilation and energy consumption are always an area of focal interest for Labflex and a natural part of our customers' expectations of the quality of our laboratory solutions and consulting.

Laboratories consume a lot of energy, and it is Labflex's task to ensure that Labflex is in possession of the right competencies to provide the right consulting and offer the right products so that the customer can choose a safe and energy-efficient solution. It is Labflex's vision to be a leader in this area.

A focal point of our innovation is ensuring that our solutions are energy-friendly and / or can contribute to reducing the customer's energy consumption without simultaneously compromising laboratory safety. Thanks to its ongoing innovation projects, Labflex expects to launch even more energy-efficient products and components on the market in the future.
