After leaving school at 17 years old, Kevin took a job as an Office Junior in an Insurance Brokers. Working under the supervision of respected and experienced insurance professionals. Kevin immediately flourished and found himself within a business environment which engaged and inspired him. In 1988, the business ownership had changed, encouraging Kevin to leave and establish Daines Kapp in 1989. As Managing Director and business owner of Daines Kapp, Kevin is heavily involved in the day-to-day operation of the business, with his primary concerns and responsibilities lying in regulatory compliance, relationship management, strategic direction of the business, and mentoring and development of others. Kevin most enjoys contact with others in his position, whether this is with clients, colleagues or insurers. Kevin is a past Parish Councillor and enjoys travelling, playing golf and going to the gym in his spare time. He is also a Member of the Institute of Chartered Managers.
