Automated Cutting Solutions was founded in 1998 to support sailmakers here at the south coast. Back then, laser tables provided a cost effective way of cutting sail panels. In 2000, we diversified into other areas where large panels of fabric had to be cut at high volumes, such as awnings, tents, and inflatable objects.
We have been working with multi-national companies, small businesses, entrepreneurs, students, and hobbyists – from the fashion industry to card makers, from architectural model making to engineering, from wedding invites to party supplies.

We are committed to supporting young talents and have entered into close co-operations with universities in the south. Students from the Winchester College of Arts, Solent University, Southampton University, Chichester University, Bournemouth University and Portsmouth University have used us for their design project work.
We wanted to say a huge thank you for coming to our rescue and helping us create our weird and wonderful costumes for ‘CRITICAL’.
