I have been using downer to manage my properties since 1989 – thats a long time. I have used other agents but in the long run Downer always comes up trumps. I bought the property from Downer and Company in October 2009, when I decided to sell I came back to Downers who sold it within three months. I would certainly recommend this company with a special mention to Stuart and Fraser for their help!

Having tried to sell a property for 9 months with a competitor only to be let down on 2 occasions, I switched to Downer & Co and managed to sell within 6 weeks. Stuart was excellent and kept pushing the house to sell it. Fraser was brilliant and kept me informed regarding slow solicitors etc. Definitely would recommend and use again (if we decide to move again!)

We were extremely impressed with the way downer sold our property for us . we felt they went that extra mile encouraging people to come and view with an excellent description and photos and also a wealth of experience about the area ie schools which were in catchment and parking etc and anything they didn’t know for example who cut the shared hedge at the front of the property – they asked us, so they were correctly informed before speaking to any one viewing which fills prospective buyers full of confidence and we felt showed professionalism. They found us a good buyer and I trusted there experience and advise which proved invaluable and helped the whole process run smoothly from start to finish within 5 months. Stuart also was very pro active helping us secure the sale on the property we wanted to buy- he contacted the agent involved and did his absolute best to help secure the house we wanted to buy which then enabled us to sell ours making all the pieces of our move fit together and then we were able to progress . Frasier was also brilliant at keeping us informed with how things were going and again was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. These guys are brilliant and know there jobs inside out- I highly recommend them as having used two different agents locally in the past Downer are simply the best!
