Vent Engineering provide fully trained and qualified personnel, for installation, commissioning, handover, training and maintenance of our controller and actuator systems.
Vent Engineering was incorporated in 1988. The initial aim of the company was to supply manual winding gear for installation to high or inaccessible windows. Vent Engineering soon became the UK's main importers of manual gearing.
Shortly afterwards, Vent Engineering introduced a range of electrical actuators from Mingardi. Our large stock holding of the most popular brands of actuators allows Vent Engineering to be the only UK importer that is able to offer the three best selling actuator manufacturers Mingardi, Ultraflex and Topp at the most competitive prices.
For natural ventilation we are able to provide control combinations which include sensors covering rain, heat, wind and humidity conditions. Whilst these controllers primary task is to operate the actuators they can in turn control third party fans, boilers, under floor heating, etc if so required.
For smoke ventilation we are able to provide Battery Backup and UPS panels in standard and bespoke formats. Whether you require to power one or one hundred actuators Vent Engineering are able to manufacture and supply a control panel to your requirements.
Since 1990, we have also manufactured and designed a range of roof vents. These are available in standard, thermally broken and thermally clad formats and we cover glazing ranging from 6.4mm to 40mm. These vents incorporate our high standards in design, with the required ease of use for installation making us again one of the leaders in our field. With the range and breadth of natural vents and AOV smoke vents we have we are able to provide a roof vent for nearly all projects.
