ABOUT POWERHOUSE MARINE LIMITED
Welcome to Powerhouse Marine Ltd, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear. My name is Mike and I am the Managing Director and Senior Mechanic. Through this Website, I would like to invite you to meet the Team and get to know what we do and why we believe the quality of the products we sell and the high standards to which we work, are so important to us.
From the beginning the company has always had marine engines at its heart. From our workshop we service and repair all makes of inboard and outboard engines, petrols and diesels. Every mechanic is factory trained by Volvo Penta, Evinrude and Yamaha.
The company was formed in 1987 with its sole activity of inboard and outboard service and repair. Business grew quickly and in 1988 Paul joined us to look after the expanding sales of Engines and Parts.
By 1998 sales had grown to the point where we needed a dedicated showroom and another team member. With the new showroom came the opportunity to expand into the kayak market. Sarah, a kayak specialist, joined us and continues to offer sound advice and remind us men we are not as smart as we think we are.
