Leggett Engineering is based in the Port Of Tilbury in Essex with workshop and site repair capacities that have evolved to cater for clients operating in the shipping industry and bulk handling industry and who have Jetties, Wharves, Docks and other related equipment.
Our clients are varied and range from small wharfingers to international leaders in the aggregate industry. Covering such a broad spectrum of clients means that since 1984 we have become a company that prides itself on working sympathetically with our clients and have a deep understanding of our clients requirements.
We have a skilled and motivated workforce that enhances our reputation. With experience in areas such as Structural, Mechanical, Welding/ fabrication and Marine engineering we are constantly working with our clients when they have breakdowns or assist them with their planned maintenance requirements
Our maintenance and repair services capacity is an important and developing part of our business and we are heavily involved with clients cranes, jetties, conveyors and bulk material handling equipment.
Proactive Repair Business
Through our work with dock cranes over many years, Leggett Engineering is often involved with historic cranes. Work on these is always a pleasure as some of them are landmarks in the old docks.
