Homelodge Buildings Ltd have been in business since 1986. Over the years the business has developed considerably and found a niche in the market for the provision of timber framed buildings for various uses particularly ‘Granny Annexes’. We also specialise in buildings to be used as garden offices, gyms, classrooms, pre-schools, nurseries, before & after school clubs, music rooms as well as church and village halls, sports pavilions, changing rooms and community centres. We have now installed over 1000 buildings nationwide and in the recent ‘credit crunch’ we are delighted to say that our order books are still healthy.
We are approved contractors for Hampshire, Gloucester and Surrey County Councils and have worked with many other local authorities. We can act as the Principal Contractor offering our clients a single point of contact to ensure we deliver attractive sympathetic buildings on time, on budget at a competitive cost.
We are very much customer focused – from the first contact with the company right through to the installation team on site liaising directly with the customer. We have 30 years of very happy clients with documented complimentary comments. With a small workforce succeeding in these tough times achieving excellence in not only the fabulous product we have but we believe we have developed our own ‘in house’ attitude towards our customers offering a very personal service always on first name terms with relationships lasting for years. With a quality product and excellent customer service much of our business comes from referrals thus keeping our advertising budget to a minimum.
You are making a considered purchase so we would recommend that you view a Homelodge and if at all possible we would hope that you can come to our Homelodge Show Site near Winchester. By coming to us you not only see our Lodges which obviously is so much better than looking at photographs to appreciate the standard of workmanship and materials etc but we can show how the lodges are made and also introduce you to the ‘team’ who will be involved with your project.

Our factory and offices are situated in the countryside between the pretty villages of Littleton and Crawley, near Winchester, Hampshire. We are in a small industrial park that was once farm buildings. These buildings are now completely converted for industrial use and out of the five buildings in the park we occupy three - the manufacturing unit, the paint barn and a storage barn. Our offices are a series of Homelodge’s which have been added together as the business has grown.
We have a dedicated team - many of the carpenters started as apprentices and have stayed with us to help grow the company. We are all very customer focused and get a real buzz from handing over a finished building to another happy customer.
Homelodge Buildings Limited The move for our community pre-school from village hall to our new Homelodge building has been a journey of discovery. This journey was made easier with the support we received from the team at Homelodge. By discussing how we were to use our building, Homelodge came up with a layout. We needed to be self-contained with a playroom/classroom, quiet room, kitchen, toilets, office and storage with facilities to cater not only for our pre-school but also for an after-school club. The building also had to harmonise with the surroundings, being in the grounds of our local school. Homelodge helped us with our planning application, advised us on contractors and saw us through the construction process to completion. Children, parents and staff are all delighted with our new home. The vaulted ceilings, roof lights and windows let in so much day-light, the children can see the outside world and enjoy the indoor space which is purpose-built for them.
Homelodge are proud of their buildings and provide comprehensive warranties for your peace of mind.
Homelodge buildings provide a twelve month defects warranty; this applies to the whole building and covers any defects – other than those which are the result of accidental damage or abuse.
The warranty applies to all the structural elements of the building –Foundations, concrete floor, timber joists, studwork, rafters, beams, lintels and trusses. Provided they are adequately maintained and not the result of accidental damage or abuse. The warranty does not however apply to internal floor finishes, internal wall finishes, ceiling finishes or fixtures and fittings, all of which are covered by the twelve months defects warranty, nor the external fabric of the building, external wall claddings, fascia, plinth and trims which can be covered by our low cost external maintenance contract.
For further peace of mind and to guarantee the external fabric of the building we recommend you purchase our low cost external fabric maintenance contract. This provides for schedules visits generally over a six year cycle, and covers the windows and doors, checking of rainwater goods, inspection of roof, repainting windows and doors and the external boarding and joinery.
We are also happy to discuss a procedure to allow for unscheduled maintenance.
