ABOUT WANTZEN LIMITED

The history of the Wantzen buisness began in 1888 with the founding of the origional company by Anton Wantzen, the son of a brewer near Aachen, Germany.

The company was originally  employed in the manufacture of envelope, paper bag and box making machinery.

The company enjoyed considerable success at a time when paper conversion was largely done by hand.

In 1904 Wantzen was appointed as the agent for Windmöller & Hölscher covering the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The sophisticated and extensive machines of W&H quickly replaced the Wantzen machines.

Today Wantzen still maintains its status as the UK and Ireland agent not only for W&H but also for suppliers reaching from Europe and as far afield as Canada.
