To complement our engine packages we have also been supplying manual transmission packages for the same period of time. Earlier packages were based around the T5 transmission but this has all but been replaced by the Tremec 5 speed gearbox. In its current form this is known as either the Tremec TKO500 or TKO600 – both 5 speed transmissions with far higher power handling capability than the T5. In more recent times, the Tremec T56 Magnum 6 speed transmission has proved a popular choice behind the Chevrolet LS range of engines.
