Mayfield Manufacturing is a family run building company.
Established in 1985 by Malcolm Hickson, and joined by son, James, they have always strived to deliver quality and provide solutions to problems within the building industry.
Faced with the problem of not being able to find a suitable product to comply with the Water Bye Laws in the1990’s, Malcolm designed and Patented ALUDUCT – which allows pipework to be easily accessible within concrete and floating floors.

In the 1990’s Malcolm felt that there had to be a better, simpler, more cost effective solution to meeting ‘Water Byelaw 58’. Malcolm tried to find a product which would allow easy access to pipework. When he couldn’t find it, he designed his own – ALUDUCT.
