Risborough Agricultural Services Ltd has been established in the Princes Risborough area since 1971 – it evolved from a John Deere dealership. It provides agricultural and garden machinery sales and support in the Berks, Bucks and Oxon area.
Risborough Agricultural Services Ltd is still a family run business. Jim and George Dance have been running it since acquiring the business in 1985. In 2007 it was decided to specialise in two main franchises which Risborough Agricultural Services Ltd had held for many years – namely Merlo Telescopic Handlers and Husqvarna Garden Machinery. It also supplies ancillary machinery products to support the two main franchises such as Cherry Products, Teagle Farm Machinery.
Risborough Garden Machinery, another subsidiary company looks after the Husqvarna products in the local area which includes towns such as Aylesbury, Princes Risborough, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Chinnor and Thame.
Zurn UK, a subsidiary company of Risborough Agricultural Services Ltd, has been importing harvesting equipment to supply to the main combine dealers throughout the UK since 1989. Zurn predominantly manufactures Oil Seed Rape harvesting machinery. They also now supply the Zurn Premium Flow Header exclusively for John Deere combines and Header Transporters for all makes of combine header. They also manufacture the Zurn ProfiCut direct cut header for Forage Harvesters. Laforge UK, another subsidiary supply Laforge Front Hitches, Fleximass Weight Ballasting systems and Easymass weights which are also now being supplied to all main franchise dealers throughout the UK.
