Carl Schofield, our Managing Director, oversees the business to ensure every customer always receives the best personal service.
His background is technology based having graduated in Electrical & Electronic engineering, Carl worked for a short period in the R&D facilities at a leading electronics company working on metal detectors for the food industry before setting up NEO in the mid 1980's.
This saw him target the vending industry with electronic coin validation and bringing electronics to the control of vending machines in general, replacing wherever possible, mechanical with electronics to offer our clients a superior product.
Declan has gained experience in Production, Test, Quality, Design and Development (both hardware and software) as well as gaining customer facing experience with a number of SME organisations.
Davids experience within the industry is wide and varied, from Hardware and Software Design, through to Project & Production Management - his skills are key in turning customers concepts into reality.
Outside Neo, David is a freelance writer and photographer who enjoys travelling, live music & playing guitar in a local rock band. When he's not making a racket he also loves motorsports, mountain biking and anything fast and loud!
Production Manager
While working for NEO a respected company in the industry, he finished his ONC in electronics and has done courses in AutoCAD and Management. Paul has worked now in electronics for more than 10years and is always looking for a product that will push his mind to new levels.
In his free time he works on his own projects in electronic's as a hobbyist working with design package's and C programming and like's to keep on top of new technologies coming up. But more important than that he spends time looking after his son and doing things as a family.
Andy has many years experience within the electronics industry, from PCB design & manufacturing, through quality, test, inspection, calibration, to embedded firmware and software design. This wealth of experience, an HND and a natural creative flair has contributed to innovative solutions, bringing clients' ideas to life.
At NEO, Andy currently looks after embedded firmware and PCB design amongst other things, as part of a small multi-disciplined R&D team, as well as providing practical support to production.
Paula began her career at NEO straight from school, initially employed as an Office Junior, working her way up to her current position as Company Secretary.
She has numerous roles within the company, from manning reception and answering the telephones, to overseeing office administration, accounts and all matters financial.
