Because we don’t use sales reps you will only deal with experienced members of staff, this ensures you get good advice and a properly installed product.
A local business
From our production premises in Clydach (near M4 junction 45 for Swansea) has existed as a base for the Distinction Windows operations since the 1980s.
In addition to this, the company also has facilities close to Llangadog, Carmarthenshire and Gwaelod-Y-Garth in Cardiff, making it possible for us to cover a large area of South Wales.

A family business
Distinction Windows Ltd is a family business managed by Wayne Duncan, who has worked in the carpentry and construction business for over 40 years. He was initially joined by his parents Hettie and Oscar and wife Nannette to help start and manage the company during its first 25 years.
In recent years, Wayne has the help of children Gareth, Kevin and Elizabeth, each of whom have developed their own areas of expertise before re-joining the family business, to help add another generation of employees to the business.
Distinction Windows Ltd has a well-established history of satisfied customers, with the majority of our new customers having heard of Distinction Windows Ltd through their friends' and families' personal recommendations.
Many of our employees have been working for the company since it began, leading to an extremely high level of carpentry expertise and care within the workforce. It is company policy not to employ staff to fit on ‘price work’, instead we emphasise on not rushing to ensure the job is done right the first time.
During the last three decades, we have had many employees join and gain key skills within the company, ranging from youth-to-work schemes to carpentry training pathways. Many employees that helped to start the business are still working with us. These include John Cox, Wayne Lewis, Astley Thomas and Jason Rogers. Through the years we have been fortunate to work with many other great employees which we still have the pleasure of keeping in touch with.
Services we provide
As a business, we offer a huge range of potential services, from window repairs to installing products for large scale building projects. Over the years, we have carried out all types of work.
Our area of expertise is in working with a smaller number of home owners, builders and businesses and provide a higher quality of service to a few people, rather than trying to provide a mediocre service to a large number of people.

A customer is not an outsider to our business
I recently had some windows and doors fitted in my garage and house by this company. They provided excellent service and quoted a reasonable price, compared to some of the other ridiculous prices I got off other firms. I had minor problems after the fitting, but the firm sent a workman to sort it out the very next day.
