Leading the business from our office base in Redhill:

Matthew Charlton, co-founder of Upright, launched the business in January 2010 and now sits as the Managing Director. Following in his grandfather's footsteps, Matthew qualified as a carpenter gaining the "Apprentice of the year award", before realising the potential for his construction vision, Upright. Matthew's unsurpassed ability to provide innovative build options, practical understanding and creative ideas has resulted in Upright being renowned for delivering well engineered and practical build solutions.

Ben Wilson, co-founder of Upright launched the business in January 2010 and now sits as a Director and Site Supervisor. A skilled carpenter, Ben's initial construction years were spent leading loft conversion projects, before his ability to absorb broader aspects of the construction trade and his passion for delivering individual build projects lead to the start of Upright.
