Company History
At the time they were seeking training for their employees that would develop the actual skills that their people needed to help them excel in their actual jobs.
The name “spearhead” was chosen to reflect the position in the market place and their vision of being at the pinnacle of training design and delivery effectiveness – a philosophy that still drives us today.
However, the company rapidly grew and developed a portfolio of open or public courses which were offered on a range of dates and at various venues so that customers with the need to train just one or two of members of their staff could still benefit from the Spearhead approach to training design and delivery.
In 1997 Spearhead opened its first Middle East operation in Dubai. Due to the rapid success and high demand for quality training, offices were subsequently opened in 2001 in Abu Dhabi and then later that year also in Qatar. Spearhead Training is an ILM Approved Centre and Recognised Provider in the Middle East and has gained a powerful reputation for providing high quality training specifically relevant to the local market.
Spearhead has maintained its focus to be training specialists in sales, management and business skills and has developed a proven track record in the market place for improving business performance.
Today Spearhead remains an owner run company and continues to work in partnership with our customers, supporting them by training their people so they are able to take full advantage of the many opportunities, and master the challenges they face, in the current market place.

We are certainly very choosy about who joins us and every tutor has been hand picked. To become a Spearhead Tutor you must have a prior track record of success in business. Indeed most of our tutors ran their own businesses or divisions of large operations before joining the Spearhead Team. These business experiences are important, without them our trainers could not give our clients those additional practical tips and techniques that only true experts who have actually been successful in business know about.
