Established in 1975, the business has grown organically from the hiring of two-way radios to the design and installation of custom enterprise radio solutions and system integration. While the business focus has changed over the years, it remains under the same ownership today as the day it started. Radio Systems Limited (RSL) has a pedigree of design, manufacturing, supply, installation and maintenance of bespoke turnkey mobile radio schemes for UK and overseas organisations.
Key Radio Systems operations and services were assimilated into RSL with a number of critical personnel strengthening the RSL’s design and manufacturing capability in 2009. The majority of Key Radio customers transferred to Radio Systems as have all former suppliers.
Radio Systems has an ongoing commitment to quality of supply and service, being accredited by UKAS approved NQA.
Is a primary consideration actively promoted throughout the business and remains a key driver in all day to day aspects of the Company’s business. RSL is accredited by NQA to this standard.
This accreditation demonstrates RSL’s commitment to minimising our environmental impact and as producer/manufacturers we are WEEE Regulation registered with the Environment Agency registration no. WEE/EE1538XW. As with Quality and H & S we are accredited by NQA.
Internal and external audits ensure that rigid standards are continuously maintained thereby confirming our continuing right to independent accreditation.

In addition to our long history of supplying and supporting products from a whole range of leading Business Radio manufacturers, Radio Systems designs, manufacturers and supports its own in house Key products and systems. An unbiased approach to equipment selection is in itself unusual but what elevates Radio Systems further is our in house portfolio of skill sets that enables us to deliver complete solutions involving a wide variety of technologies and interfaces to the outside world.
Careful selection of the most experienced personnel with a non existent churn rate has built an unrivalled multi-disciplined project delivery team. Such is the experience of each member of the team that there is no requirement for undue management structures and this has an enabling influence upon our commercial attractiveness. Clients do not need to subsidise a top heavy organisational tree, Radio Systems is lean and efficient but with sufficient skills overlaps that any potential temporary holes can be readily plugged before they occur.
Successful project delivery requires structure and process. Radio Systems has ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 8001 accreditation and strong Quality Management but just as importantly, we remain flexible, proactive and responsive to unforeseen events…challenges, rather than obstacles.
