As a valued prospective customer you are able to visit our factory and then see your wooden staircase being produced by our highly skilled craftsmen. From full ‘custom design and build’ staircases to individual component stair parts, all of our timber products are fully crafted and hand finished by experts. Our product range is extensive and includes specialist products such as, Handrails, Spindles, Newels, Base rails, Decking and Balconies. Various timbers are used in the production of our bespoke wooden staircases.
Lowe and Simpson are proud of our company’s policy to aid conservation using timber from renewable sources, when ever possible. The detail in our custom built and standard stair parts, bull nose steps, balustrading and specialist joinery can be seen in the photographs on each page. The photographs give a good insight into the style and quality inherent in every Lowe and Simpson product. All ‘purpose made’ staircases, traditional and modern, are made from our own architectural drawings. Our experienced staff work and consult with clients throughout – from the design stage – to the installed, finished product. Surveys are carried out through out the UK and can be arrange at a time that is convenient to you.

John has been a part of the Lowe and Simpson team for over 30 years now. He has a wealth of experience, from running the company, involving everyday tasks such as keeping up with government policies and Health and Safety to quotations and timber purchasing.
Production Company Director
Tony has been with the company for over 27 years. He has a broad knowledge in all staircase manufacturing along with company production, quotations and logistics.
Surveyor Company Director
Paul has been with the company for over 27 years. Starting with the company as an apprentice joiner through into management giving Paul an extensive first hand knowledge in the mill production, manufacturing and installation of all staircases and their component parts.
Mark has been with the Company from a bench joiner through to management for over 32 years. Mark has a vast depth of knowledge of staircase manufacture and design.
All Staircases made by the Lowe & Simpson Group are designed, handmade and professionally finished in our workshop based in Stockton-On-Tees, Middlesbrough, UK. We provide the opportunity for all our customers to visit the workshop to observe the progress of their staircase as it is been hand crafted by our team of craftsmen.
