Jacobson Chemicals Ltd are now into our 40th year as an independent specialist chemical distributor. Our team of highly motivated and practically skilled staff pride themselves in bringing their expertise into customer’s workshops. We are based in Alton Hampshire which has been our base now for 14 years. This site provides us with 5000 sq. feet of warehousing, and offers national road and rail links, with two major airports nearby.
Jacobson Chemicals provide national distribution throughout the UK and mainland Europe. In recent years we have seen export growth increasing, taking our portfolio further afield. Working alongside our Business Partners Jacobson are able to offer a wide range of diverse materials such as formulated resin systems from Cytec, Dow Chemicals (Hyperlast) wide range of polyurethane elastomers , Rigid systems and Baxenden Polyurethane spray systems.
Jacobson continue to increase our portfolio, adding materials to meet customers’ needs. With a well-stocked warehouse, and reliable logistics partners we are able to move dispatches quickly. A high percentage of our customers are regular customers who require a fast service on materials and access to a hands on technical support team.
Our ability to offer solid and reliable advice throughout our customers’ processes; from material selection, through mould and casting productions, to finished product, is something that is important to us. Experience enables us to understand what materials may be best suited and give good guide lines for selecting the right systems. When working alongside our business partners, we are able to also use their knowledge and training to further support our customers. Our customers are secure in the knowledge that our priority will always be to provide material solutions which maximise productivity and continuity at all times, and we pride ourselves in delivering timely and appropriate solutions to every challenge.
Jacobson Chemicals provide onsite technical support with all our systems, and welcome the challenge of new “applications.” From the early stages of mould making, or advice on the levels of filler for Polyurethanes, we can provide our knowledge and also show you how our products can be of benefit.
