I have been in the Financial Services industry since 1976. For several years I was a Senior Consultant, then Branch Manager, at a large Insurance Company and following that I worked as a Financial Adviser for a national Building Society.
I am a Senior Financial Adviser and have been with Explore Wealth Management since 2013.
Since leaving further education over 20 years ago I have worked for three leading Insurance Companies as well as a number of Independent Financial Adviser firms.
In 2006 I came to work at Explore Wealth Management as a Para-planner where I have developed a close understanding of many aspects of financial advice. In my role as Client Services Manager, I am dedicated to providing a friendly, personal, first class service to our clients.
I have worked in the financial services sector since 1988 and have a wealth of experience in delivering client services. My career includes stints at a number of major firms as well as other local financial advisory firms before joining Explore Wealth Management in March 2017.
In my role at Explore Wealth Management, I enjoy liaising closely with our team of advisers and my focus is on providing a great service to our clients.
I started my working life in 1983 in the household insurance department at a large Insurance Company in Newcastle, where I also met Stephen. After leaving I worked for several General Insurance Brokers before coming to work at Explore Wealth Management in 2005. Initially I dealt with mortgage administration, but now I also deal with general administration and accounts.
I have worked in financial services for many years, during which time I have had various roles with a variety of companies, including large multi-national providers, local niche providers and independent financial adviser firms.
As a Paraplanner at Explore Wealth Management, I work closely with the advisers to provide our clients with the best possible advice backed up by a first class service.
I had a patchwork quilt of various savings and investments showing little return. I decided enough was enough and looked for a Financial Adviser to redress the situation. Explore Wealth Management was recommended to me by a friend who had been with them for a number of years.

I accepted his plan and within a matter of weeks he had consolidated my investments, keeping me informed of the progress made. There is still further work to be done with regards to other matters, but I am pleased with the results although it's early days. I regret not seeking advice earlier.

In 2016, we became the sponsor of Cramlington Town FC, an FA Community Club which provides football facilities to 350 local boys, girls and adults, from under sevens to seniors. The club’s facilities are also used by local charities, helping to make football accessible to everyone.
The sponsorship deal helped the club to relocate to new and better facilities in nearby East Hartford and paid for new training kit and tracksuits for the junior teams.
The Financial Ombudsman Service is available to sort out individual complaints that clients and financial services businesses are unable to resolve themselves.
At Explore Wealth Management, we would consider any complaint made about our services very carefully, however, if you are not satisfied with the result of any such complaint, you are able to take the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
